Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-2024 NWP Wolves Men’s Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Matthew Powell is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Meet Carson King a multi-talented athlete from Grande Prairie, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Men’s Volleyball team for the upcoming year.
King brings with him an impressive athletic resume, including competing in the 2023 NWP Wolves All-Star Game.
When asked why he chose NWP, King explained that over the last few years he has attended many Wolves games and added that the atmosphere and experience was incredible. Ever since, King has wanted to be apart of that.
In his rookie year, King is most excited to develop close relationships with all of his new teammates and put 110 percent in for his new team.
Head Coach Matthew Powell is excited to work with King, adding, “Carson brings experience playing for Team Alberta North as well as the club system in Grande
Prairie. We look forward to helping him grow as a member of our program.”
