News Archives: Gravengard joins MBB team

Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-2024 NWP Wolves Men’s Basketball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Evan Lloyd is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Meet Kaden Gravengard a multi-talented athlete from Grande Prairie, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Men’s Basketball team for the upcoming year.
Gravengard brings with him an impressive athletic resume, including playing for the Peace Wapiti Academy Titans, 2023 Edge Prep, and 2023 Team Alberta North.
When asked why he chose NWP, Gravengard explained that NWP holds a special place in his heart as the Wolves is his hometown team. By joining the team, he aims to not only represent his local community but also show the talent that exists in the northern region.
In his rookie year, Gravengard is most excited about the prospect of stepping onto the court and competing at a post-secondary level.
Head Coach Evan Lloyd is excited to work with Gravengard, adding, “Kaden is a great team guy. I have coached him since U14. I am super happy he has joined the Wolves.”
