WVB New Recruit Savannah Lambert
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2024-2025 NWP Wolves Women’s Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Meet Savannah Lambert a multi-talented athlete from Grande Prairie, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Women’s Volleyball team for the upcoming year.
Lambert brings with her an impressive athletic resume, including the 2022 Team Alberta, u16 Women’s Volleyball Canada Cup; in 2023 playing with Team Alberta North, u19 Women’s Volleyball, Artic Winter Games; playing for Team Alberta, u19 Women’s Volleyball, North American Indigenous Games in 2023; and in 2024 playing for Team Alberta North, u19 Women’s Volleyball, Arctic Winter Games.
When asked why she chose NWP, Lambert explained that attending NWP allows her to stay close to home. “It has a comfortable atmosphere and provides the opportunity for me to be apart of a team that’s like family,” Lambert added.
In her rookie year, Lambert is most excited to play a higher and more competitive level of volleyball. Joining the Wolfpack will provide Lambert with the opportunity to learn and connect with new people.
Head Coach Lauren Hale-Miller is excited to work with Lambert, adding, “I have watched Savannah play and develop as a volleyball player since she was in u16. I knew immediately that she would the type of athlete and person we would want in our Wolves program. ”
“It has been great to see the player that Savannah has become, and I am excited to get her in our program to continue to help her work towards her goals. Savannah will add depth to our roster," said Hale-Miller. "Her enthusiastic energy is contagious among our players and everyone will thrive with her being there!”
