News Archives: Neto Joins Men's Soccer Roster

Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2024-2025 NWP Wolves Men’s Soccer and Futsal teams. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolfpack member. Head Coach David Rojas is excited to introduce recruits to the rosters.
Welcome Pedro Neto.
Hailing from Fortaleza, Brazil, Neto is most excited to continue his education while playing the sport he loves. "There is a brilliant Kinesiology program where I will be able to get my diploma and also a strong soccer program."
Neto has had success with two other ACAC teams. Bringing home a Silver and a Bronze with the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings between 2019-2022. Neto won Silver with his NAIT Ooks team in the 2022-2023 season. Head Coach, David Rojas is looking forward to Neto's experience on the team. “Pedro will bring quality and experience to the team. He is a great playmaker with vision to create opportunities and score goals.”
Neto can’t wait to lace up his cleats and get the season started. “I’m excited to be returning to play again for an excellent institution like NWP. The ACAC soccer season is something unique that I had the privilege of participating in a few times and I am very excited to be able to play another season, and I hope to do my best on the field and bring NWP excellent results in this new season to come."
