Garth Dyer is currently completing his BSc (honours) in genetics at the University of Alberta. He transferred to the UofA after completing two years at GPRC, and says he was well prepared.
“After completing two years of bio sci at GPRC, I was more than prepared for my 3rd year at the U of A,” Garth says. “I was already familiar with material covered in some of my 3rd year classes. GPRC instructors went above and beyond in the quality of their instruction.”
Garth also had the opportunity to spend a few weeks with a student group volunteering in Kenya, where he spent part of the time teaching biology at a school in a Nairobi slum.
“I absolutely loved my experience at GPRC. The small class sizes let me form solid relationships with my professors and classmates. All my professors were extremely approachable. Besides being friendly and helpful, they are excellent instructors. Without reservation I would encourage anyone to further their education at GPRC.
