Hours - 35 hrs per week
Job Term - 8 weeks
Wage - $20 per hour

Responsibilities:
-Updating, creating, and leading programs for children both on and occasionally off-site, with specialownership of the Bicycle Safety Programs
-Collaborating with team members to create, plan, promote, and supervise events; i.e. birthday parties,private lessons, drop-ins, and programs
-Delivering exceptional customer service
-Ensuring the safe and efficient use of program material
-Maintaining a clean, orderly and safe workspace
-Collecting, evaluating, and reporting data.
-Other duties as required
Requirements:
Must meet all eligibility requirements as outlined by the Canada Summer Jobs Program.
-Comfortable with public speaking (speaking in front of a group)
-Leadership and teaching skills
-Enjoys working with children
-Able to work effectively in a team or independently
-Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
-Eager to learn and embrace new challenges
-Proficient in English written and oral communication skills
-Proficient in bicycle riding and handling
-Flexible with scheduling
-First Aid Certification is an asset
-Possesses strong organizational and problem-solving skills
-Able to complete background checks, including a vulnerable sector check and a Child and YouthIntervention Check.
-Willing to follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
