Under the guidance of a preceptor, students apply the knowledge and skills gained in the classroom to real emergency situations. The overall outcome of the ambulance placement is for the student to meet all entry to practice PCP competencies. Students are assigned to a Registered PCP or Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) for the duration of their placement and will only perform skills under direct and indirect supervision.
