Institutional Planning & Research Office
The Office of Institutional Planning and Research provides analytical insight, value-added information, and performance monitoring that supports strategic planning and evidence-based decision-making for executives, senior leadership, and the wider community. It is responsible for a broad spectrum of research, analysis and planning that will support evidence-based decision-making for all departments in the areas of enterprise risk management, policy development, academic program review and development, labour market outcomes, and strategic and enrolment planning.
Other responsibilities of the Office include, the administration, coordination and analysis of all institutional surveys, whether internal or externally mandated. As a key resource to the Polytechnic, IPR provides centralized analytics, key performance metrics, quality assurance, and system-wide comparisons that measure accountability at the institutional and provincial levels.
