Basic Bookkeeping Level 1 is an introduction to fundamental bookkeeping practices.

Topics in this extensive manual bookkeeping course include:

• accounting concepts and procedures
• debits and credits
• beginning the accounting cycle
• ledgers
• correcting entries
• sales tax in Canada
• freight, delivery, duty and brokerage
• special journals and credit notes
• refunds and discounts

Duration and Delivery

This course is delivered one evening each week.  It is offered at the Grande Prairie campus. Video conference through Zoom is also available.  

Program Requirements

The textbook is included in course fees and will be provided at the first class. All you need to bring is a calculator.
