Description
Mental Health Interventions: A Comprehensive Guide to Nursing Practice is one of eight courses in the IEN Program.
This course will familiarize students with various mental health interventions that are relevant to the nursing practice in Canada. It will provide an in-depth understanding of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and substance abuse and the appropriate interventions, using culturally sensitive approaches to mental health nursing care to patients struggling with mental health disorders. The course would also cover psychiatric emergencies and how to manage them.

Asynchronous online, where you have the support of a course tutor to be successful.
Completion Timeframe
- 90 days from the start of each course to complete.

Learner Requirements
- Access to a computer and a stable internet connection.
- Are required to complete all self-study modules and assessments.
Refund/Extension Policy
No refunds or withdrawals are permitted for Internationally Educated Nurse courses.
PPIEN courses are not eligible for an extension. If you do not complete the course content within your registration timeframe, you will have to re-register and pay for the full tuition again.
