Early Learning and Childcare (MICROM0002)

Description

Gain hands-on exploration of art, music and story from a child-centered perspective to support your ability to create engaging experiences for young children.

Upon completion of the micro-credential, you will be eligible to apply for your Level 1 Certification in Early Learning and Childcare through the Alberta Government.

Learning Outcomes

• Be able to discuss the concept of creativity
• Explain how art, music, and story contribute to a child’s physical and social-emotional development
• Demonstrate use of a developmentally appropriate, child-centered, play-based approach to program planning for art, music, and story

Delivery Format

This course will be offered on line via Zoom.

Price

$850, which includes the e-book and materials.  This course runs on the following dates - Sat/Sun - March 22, 23, April 12, 13, 26 and 27.

Learners are required to complete self-study assignments and must have access to a computer and a stable internet connection.
